Am I a workaholic?
I went over the past week. Every task assigned to me becomes my ownership, and then an overstretch — all of it in the mind, while the work itself gets done on time. Ideally, one thought about what, how and when should be enough.
In my case it runs in loops. By the time I sit down, the mind is already racing. Even a task aided by an AI bot feels slow. I judge the output, question it, revisit the steps. The real goal underneath is this: zero iterations once I have spent time.
Whatever I produce should be approved in one go.
Her answer did not surprise me. What surprised me was that I had asked the question the moment I was free, as if even the doubt needed to be processed and closed.
While all this runs, mindfulness is gone. There is a heaviness in the head. The body stops existing. No deep breath, no observer mindset, works. Only at night, back in bed, does the breath return — inhale, exhale. The body returns with it. Energy at that point feels evenly spread through the whole of it.
